SAN LEANDRO, CA-The Annex has signed on to lease a 143,852-square-foot portion of a larger 326,000-square-foot warehouse/distribution facility situated on 12.68 acres from AMB Property Corp. The property, located at 1345 Doolittle Ave., Suite A, is adjacent to Oakland International Airport and is one of only a few new warehouse/distribution leases over 100,000 square feet in 2010.
Greig Lagomarsino and Casey Ricksen of Colliers International’s Oakland office represented the landlord. Paul Mueller of Cornish & Carey represented the tenant. “The number of quality warehouses available near the Port of Oakland are diminishing and activity and tours are increasing along the 880 Corridor,” according to Ricksen.
The Annex is relocating its Hayward facility to San Leandro to be closer to the Port of Oakland. This building will serve as one of its Northern California regional distribution centers.
Building features include 4,800 square feet of office area, over 20 dock-high loading doors, 22-foot to 24-foot ceiling clearance, fenced secure yard area, ample parking and truck staging areas, and a prominent high identity location.
The remaining 41,052 square feet of the warehouse is currently available for lease and has nine docks, 1,600 square feet of office and 22-foot to 24-foot clearance.
