NEW YORK CITY-With the real estate market in the US continuing in a slump, hotel and restaurant developer Sant Singh Chatwal has announced plans to expand his empire starting with the launch of an 83-room luxurious Chatwal brand hotel in the Theater District. The project is estimated to be worth over $100 million.

Chatwal's restaurant development company also has plans to open expand the Dream and the Night brand of hotels in South Beach, Miami and in Chelsea, NoHo. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
