Nearly Vacant Specialty Retail Center Sells for $7M

CORAL SPRINGS, FL-Despite 31% occupancy, Design Row, a strip center targeting furniture retailers, sold for $7.25 million.

CORAL SPRINGS, FL-Design Row Shopping Center has sold for $7.25 million. The 90,476-square foot specialty retail center in the Northwest Broward submarket sits 69% vacant in a bedroom community hard-hit by the recession.

Dave Donnellan, Bill Strauss, and Todd Weintraub of CB Richard Ellis’ Private Client Group represented the seller, Lara Design Row. The buyer was Design Row LLC, a group that includes Miami Beach-based Maverick Investments and a real estate investment firm in New York.
