ALBANY-The approval for a proposed Super Walmart project was rejected by the Colonie Planning Board during a public meeting. The board voted against the suggested store, which measures 184,000 square feet, located on Autopark Drive off Route 9 in Latham.

The town's public information officer, Sara Wiest, said that Walmart can modify the proposed plans and then look for conceptual approval. The planned retail store will be larger than Latham Farms' store. For the full story, go to The Business Review (Albany).
