OAKLAND, CA-Brandywine Realty Trust has appointed John Dolby, senior vice president of Grubb & Ellis’ office group, and Cale Miller, senior associate of the office group, as the leasing agents of Lake Merritt Tower, a 201,000-square-foot office building in Oakland. Space availability at Lake Merritt Tower ranges in size from 1,500 square feet to 40,000 square feet.

Dolby tells GlobeSt.com that the asking price is $30 to $33 per square foot per year. The types of tenants Grubb & Ellis expects the property to attract are “professional firms, high-tech and engineering firms, as well as real estate firms.”

Built in 1990 near the shore of Lake Merritt, the 10-story class A office tower offers views of the lake, as well as Oakland Hills and the San Francisco Bay. The property is located at 155 Grand Ave., and is currently 67% leased to multiple tenants, including CH2MHill and KEMA Inc.

The property also includes 4,000 square feet of retail space, currently leased to Bank of Alameda, Bay Commercial Bank and Specialty’s Caf
