MILFORD, CT-Milford Plaza has locked down its anchor tenant for another five years. The 181,000-square-foot shopping center here is filling 28% of its space with the retailers. Bob's Stores will renew its 50,000 square feet valued at $1.86 million. Stonemar, the plaza's owner, handled the transaction.

The property is seeking to fill the rest of its space, about 10% vacant, with a junior anchor or two smaller shops. The available space comes to 19,264 square feet, leaving just enough variety of retailers as prospects. Milford Plaza is located at 155 Cherry Plaza.

Part of the terms of the agreement between Bob's Stores and Stonemar involved an upgraded storefront and pylon sign graphics. Some of the other pieces of the deal include replacing gray-column shelving with maple color wall shelving, replacing the carpet and retrofitting new ceiling tiles and lighting.
