SADDLE BROOK, NJ-CB Richard Ellis has named Jeff Hipschman, senior managing director, to lead its New Jersey operations. He will continue to be located in the company’s Saddle Brook, NJ office and will be responsible for managing the firm’s three offices statewide.
“Jeff has done a terrific job working to ensure our New Jersey operation continues to be the market leader in the state,” Mitchell E. Rudin, president and CEO of CBRE’s New York Tri-State region, tells GlobeSt.com. “With nearly 20 years in the industry, Jeff’s leadership has been instrumental in CBRE’s continual increase in market share in this very important region.”
CBRE’s New Jersey operations were the receipt of the 2010 NAIOP Economic Impact Deal of the Year Award for 445 S. St., in Morristown. In addition, the firm has completed some major deals this year, including transactions on behalf of C.R. Bard, Credit Suisse, Chubb Insurance, Covanta Energy, Dr. Pepper/Snapple, IBM, KPMG, Macys, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Samsung Electronics, Stryker, Sun Chemical and Volkswagen.
“CBRE’s success in the New Jersey marketplace is no different from our success elsewhere globally,” Hipschman tells GlobeSt.com. “It’s due largely to the outstanding team of professionals with deep brokerage operations experience and the analytical and research tools we created to help our sales professionals advise their clients most efficiently.”
David Gialanella, executive vice president, who had been co-leader of CBRE’s New Jersey operations, is now focusing on expanding the firm’s global corporate services as global head of transactions services.
