NEW YORK CITY-T.J. Maxx, a discount retailer, is opening a new store in the Bridgemarket complex situated under the Queensboro Bridge at 59th Street on October 24. According to TJX Cos., opening a store in the complex is part of the retailer's expansion plan in Manhattan.

The opening of a 35,750-square-foot store at the 98,000-square-foot complex follows T.J. Maxx's recent entry in Columbus Avenue and a new store to be opened on November 11 at 57th Street and Eighth Avenue. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
