Housing Group Buys $32M Complex, Seeks More

SAN DIEGO-The San Diego Housing Commission has acquired the 172-unit Mariners Village Apartments in Paradise Hills for $31.5 million and is working to acquire additional properties, according to brokers who represented the commission in the acquisition. The property, at 6847 Potomac St., is a complex of 12 garden-style buildings on a parcel of more than nine acres.

The housing commission was was represented by Diane Miramontes, Darcy Miramontes and Kip Malo of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial. The Cassidy Turley team is now working with commission officials in their search for additional properties.
