BOSTON-Massachusetts officials to commence a study next week to decide the design and management of a public food market along the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway in downtown Boston. The new food market will be developed in a vacant building.

The officials will hire a private consultant to proceed with the study. The Patrick administration has decided to spend nearly $10 million for the renovation work. The new public food market is expected to open in the summer of 2012. For the full story, go to Boston Globe.
