CHICAGO-Glenview is seeking to sell a 44-acre parcel next year. The property, which was formerly part of the Glenview Naval Air Station, is located at West Lake Avenue and Shermer Road.
This is the last publicly owned property of the 1,100-acre military base that turned into The Glen, where shopping centers, office parcels and subdivisions redeveloped. The 44-acre property was given to Glenview in 2006. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
