MIAMI-In a flurry of leasing activity, Nova Southeastern University has exercised an early lease renewal of about 70,000 square feet of space at Kendall Village Center, inked a new 20,220-square-foot lease, and opted for an early lease renewal of about 5,900 square feet at The Professional Arts Center at Kendall Village. At 96,000 square feet, the combined deal is one of the largest office lease signed in the Miami this year.
Jeff and Michael Berkowitz of Miami-based Berkowitz Realty Group acted as the exclusive leasing agents for Kendall Village Center. Jamie Pudicombe of Palmaple Corp. represented Nova Southeastern University.
“Nova Southeastern University’s early renewal and significant expansion within Kendall Village Center is further evidence of the center’s appeal to national credit users in search of class A office and retail space conveniently located in the heart of West Kendall’s active business, retail and residential district,” says Michael Berkowitz, Vice President of Berkowitz Development Group.
The Kendall Village Center is 99% occupied. Tenants include Regal Cinemas, LA Fitness, Gatsby’s, Bahama Breeze, On the Border, Gap, Gap Kids, Old Navy, Chuck E. Cheese, Latin America Caf
