Food Firm Leases Up 600,000-SF Hillwood W/D

CARLISLE, PA-Bay Valley Foods, which sells private-label food items, leases up all of Hillwood's Carlisle 44 Trade Center.

CARLISLE, PA-Bay Valley Foods, a firm that makes private-label goods for grocery retailers, inked a  602,500-square-foot lease here taking up all of the space in Hillwood Investment Properties’ Carlisle 44 Trade Center. Hillwood bought the facility, which was vacant since its construction in 2007, from Higgins Development in June.

Bay Valley will use the building strictly for distribution purposes, Gary Frederick, a senior vice president at Dallas-based Hillwood, tells GlobeSt.com. The Wisconsin-based company produces everything from coffee creamer to salsa.
