WEST PALM BEACH, FL-In what the firm calls one of its most significant new hires in the past decade, NAI/Merin Hunter Codman has wooed Jordan Paul as Chief Operating Officer. Paul comes to NAI from the Related Group of Florida, where he served as senior managing director responsible for all investments and asset management activities for the company’s investment fund.
“The addition of Jordan Paul to our team at NAI/Merin Hunter Codman is the capstone of the major expansion the firm has undertaken in the last several years,” says Neil Merin, Chairman of NAI/Merin Hunter Codman. “Adding depth to our leadership was key to this expansion. Jordan brings extremely well rounded and diverse real estate experience to our firm, allowing us to take our growth and expansion to a new level over a sustained period of time.”
Over the course of his career, Paul has been responsible for the acquisition and management of over $3.5 billion in commercial real estate assets across the US. With the addition of Paul and his national contacts, the firm expects to move well beyond its Palm Beach County focus.
As a partner, Paul will lead operations for brokerage, construction and property management services and represent the company with business and civic leaders to promote expansion. He will also oversee financial performance, and business development. Paul will also develop strategic plans for growing the company and shaping a vision that will broaden its market penetration including inking strategic joint ventures with institutional partners.

NAI/Merin Hunter Codman continues to expand. In the last 18 months alone, the commercial real estate brokerage staff at the firm increased by more than 50%. Paul’s responsibilities will include further recruitment and retaining of top talent.
Paul’s commercial real estate career spans nearly three decades. A licensed attorney and a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Paul has served as a senior officer for both publicly traded and private real estate investment firms.
Prior to joining Related Group, Paul was the founder, Chairman and CEO of Aquila Property Company in Jupiter. Activities at Aquila included the acquisition and turnaround of a 500,000 square-foot office portfolio and a golf course residential development, as well as numerous advisory assignments for major financial institutions analyzing hotels, shopping malls, multifamily properties and CMBS investments throughout the United States.
