Sierra Club Consolidates DC Assets

WASHINGTON, DC-The environmental organization will move into 27,238 square feet at Normandy Real Estate’s 216,000-square-foot building at 50 F St., NW.

WASHINGTON, DC-The Sierra Club has signed a new lease for 27,238 square feet at 50 F St., NW, where it will build out new LEED certified offices, boosting its own efficiency and demonstrating its commitment to its broad energy efficiency initiatives.

Newmark Knight Frank managing principals Bill Zonghetti and Larry Bank represented Sierra Club in identifying the new location after residing at 408 C St. since its purchase of the property in the mid-1980s. The 216,000-square-foot, class A building is owned by Normandy Real Estate, which was represented by CB Richard Ellis. Sierra Club will be consolidating its offices from 408 C St. and 555 11th St. into the 50 F street location this year.
