LOS ANGELES-Locally based CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. has launched a new, proprietary online real estate loan auction service. The new platform expands the company’s capabilities for assisting sellers in the disposition of commercial real estate loans.

The service provides an open, online auction bidding capability for the sale of commercial mortgages, according to a prepared statement. The proprietary, self contained, online platform complements CBRE’s traditional loan sales process and is supported by the same high quality marketing resources and market research.

“CBRE’s loan auction platform delivers to our clients the utility of an online tool combined with the savvy, insight and market knowledge of the world leader in commercial real estate services,” explains Spencer Levy, executive managing director of CBRE Capital Markets.

Operating on a proprietary, self contained technology administered internally by CBRE, the system has been rigorously tested to meet the highest security and technology standards, according to the release. This online auction platform also has the capability to customize the auction offerings based on seller requirements.

The new online loan auction service is a collaboration of the CB Richard Ellis Denver loan sale advisory team and other CBRE service groups. The online loan auction service complements the existing offerings of CBRE capital markets, brokerage, and global corporate services professionals across the country, according to the statement.
