PHOENIX-Just six months after opening its local office here, Voit Real Estate Services has added property management and brokerage assignments totaling 500,000 square feet across 13 projects and brought on several new professionals to handle the increased workload.

“We’ve definitely met our initials goals that we outlined when we opened the office,” says Jason Quintel, managing director of Voit’s Phoenix and Las Vegas offices. “It wouldn’t be unrealistic to add another 1 million square feet in assignments over the course of next 12 months, which would be 20 to 40 projects.”

Quintel notes that the new brokerage assignments include not only leasing but also disposition since a large number of the properties are distressed. “The majority of the assignments have come from relationships that we’ve established with lenders and banks including Wells Fargo, GE Capital, California Bank & Trust and Sterling Savings & Trust, just to name a few,” he tells GlobeSt.com, adding that the firm’s new assignments are all situated in Maricopa County and include retail, office and industrial properties, as well as land assets.
