IRVINE, CA-Ground has broken on the $10 million renovation of Heritage Plaza, a 226,998-square-foot retail center in Irvine, CA, owned by Regency Centers. The renovation of the Ralph’s-anchored center is scheduled for completion in November 2011.
Originally designed in the 1970s, Heritage Plaza was acquired by Regency in 1999. Even though the center is well leased and continues to be profitable, it has never undergone redevelopment. Regency has worked with consultants, local neighborhood associations and residents to ensure that the center will be strategically positioned for current and future customer demand.
