SAN ANTONIO-USAA Real Estate Co. has tapped Len O’Donnell as president and chief operating officer. The former Crimson Capital CEO will oversee all operations for the company.
USAA Real Estate Co. is a subsidiary of USAA, a local financial services company that serves military families. The company has about $6 billion in real estate assets under management. Its portfolio consists of office, industrial, multi-family, retail and hotel properties, as well as investments in real estate operating companies with annual volume transactions exceeding $3 billion.
O’Donnell is a 25-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Crimson Capital Ltd and principal of Crimson Real Estate Fund, based in Houston. Prior to Crimson, O’Donnell spent 10 years as an investment sales broker in Washington DC. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware.
