SAN DIEGO-Jones Lang LaSalle has hired 20-year energy industry veteran Leo O’Loughlin as senior vice president of the firm’s energy and sustainability services group. Based in the firm’s San Diego office, O’Loughlin will work with national and global ESS teams to gain and implement energy services assignments throughout the Western US.
He reports to Peter Belisle, president of ESS in the Americas. “Leo’s experience and contacts in the energy industry will help us expand our energy and sustainability services practice to meet the increasing market demand for greater energy efficiency and alternative energy solutions,” Belisle says. “He has a proven track record of structuring and implementing projects and processes to help owners reduce costs and improve their operations.”
O’Loughlin has more than 20 years of energy industry experience. Most recently, he served as director of business development at Veolia Energy North America, where he was responsible for managing and expanding new business accounts, and negotiating long-term energy services contracts. His prior experience included project management responsibilities for Trigen, Sempra Energy Solutions, and PG&E Energy Services.
Jones Lang LaSalle’s ESS group provides comprehensive, integrated services such as energy management, LEED project management, corporate sustainability consulting and green facility and property management, according to a prepared statement.
