FREEHOLD, NJ-DCH Auto Group has broken ground on a new BMW of Freehold car dealership at 4225 US Hwy. 9 N. Replacing South Amboy, NJ-based DCH’s existing dealership on the site, the new facility will house a car exposition area, customer lounge, cafeteria, offices, bathrooms, parts storage and enclosed service drive, as well an adjacent mechanic shop.

“The economy is starting to rebound, and especially for our high-line dealerships, there is a certain expectation our customers have,” Roy Bavaro, DCH’s director of corporate marketing and brand development, tells GlobeSt.com. “They expect a state-of-the-art showroom. It reinforces our commitment to our customer and the community.”

The mechanic shop will feature 20 in-ground car lifts, high-speed overhead garage doors, an underground vehicle exhaust removal system, car wash with a water reclamation system, BMW’s proprietary clinker tile flooring and a waste oil boiler with a 250-gallon storage tank to generate heat and hot water for both the garage. A radiant ice-melt system will be installed at the exit of the car wash.
