SECAUCUS, NJ-CB Richard Ellis Capital Markets Debt & Equity Finance group has procured an $85-million permanent mortgage refinance of a five-asset, Hartz Mountain Industries-owned portfolio within Harmon Meadow here. Namely, EVP Jim Gunning, VP Donna Falzarano (both in the firm's Saddle Brook office) and SVP Michael Sherman (based in New York City) secured the financing, which has a seven-year term, 25-year amortization and LIBOR-based rate.

The properties covered by the mortgage are: 100 Plaza Dr., a 264,973-square-foot office building leased to NBA Entertainment Inc. and numerous other tenants; 300 Plaza Dr., a senior ground position for a 161-key Holiday Inn; 400 Plaza Dr., a 255,000-square-foot, multi-tenant office building, home to Hartz corporate headquarters; 600 Plaza Dr., a 140,000-square-foot, mixed-use asset comprised of retail stores and restaurants; and 700 Plaza Dr., a 27,000-square-foot data center. The portfolio is 93% occupied.

Located on 175 acres at the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 3 interchange, the Harmon Meadow complex consists of two million square feet of office space, seven hotels, a convention center, fitness club, spa, cinema, retail, restaurants and a daycare center. The complex runs a shuttle service to the Secaucus Junction Train Station.
