ATLANTA-The Shopping Center Group got the exclusive leasing gigs on three shopping centers in the Southeast: London Square in Miami, Short Pump Station in Richmond, Va., and The Avenue Murfreesboro in Murfreesboro, Tenn. near Nashville. The Shopping Center Group has launched custom leasing strategies for all three centers.

Short Pump Station is an 86,000-square-foot regional shopping center next to the recently opened John Rolfe Parkway, a major channel to the trade area’s affluent customer base. The tenant line up includes Trader Joe’s, ULTA, Petco, The Vitamin Shoppe, Five Below, Verizon Wireless, and Alfred Angelo Bridal. There are still three spaces ranging from 1,600 square feet to 2,400 square feet available to lease.

“Our strategy includes canvassing the market and connecting with local, regional and national prospects,” Amy Berryhill, a leasing associate at The Shopping Center Group, tells GlobeSt.com. “Based on existing market voids, the leasing team is targeting an additional restaurant, coffee shops, dance studios, doctor groups, eyewear and jewelry stores.”

The Avenue Murfreesboro is a joint venture between Cousins Properties and Faison Enterprises. The 810,000-square-foot open-air center targets upscale customers. The anchor tenant line up includes Belk, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Navy, and Petco. About 80,000 square feet of retail and three outparcels are available for lease. Brian Forrester, a leasing associate at The Shopping Center Group, tells GlobeSt.com that he is negotiating with five potential tenants.

London Square is a 300,000 power center in the heart of West Kendall, an extremely dense trade area in Southwest Dade County. The center is next to a Costco Wholesale store and offers a tenant line up that includes T.J. Maxx/HomeGoods, Ross Dress for Less, Ace Hardware, Party City and Dollar Tree. The center also offers a 60,000 square foot, three-story building along with two outparcels housing Wachovia and Citibank. About 2,500 square feet is available for lease.
