NEW YORK CITY-Donald Trump might be more of a household name nowadays because of his reality television fame, but commercial real estate is what first put him in the public eye. Now he is making his name in politics in a big way.
Trump came in second place in a poll rating potential Republican presidential candidates. The poll, conducted by the Wall Street Journal and NBC News, put former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in first place, with 21% of the vote. Trump was tied with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 17%. The vote puts Trump ahead of the much-discussed Sarah Palin, former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate, who garnered 10%, and House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who got 11%.
