MANSFIELD, MA-Behringer Harvard is dropping $36 million for West Village, a seven-building apartment complex here. The luxury community clocks 200 units over 28.6 acres and a single-story clubhouse. The property sits at 96% occupancy.

The seven garden-style apartment buildings are three stories apiece with the average apartment measuring 1,046 square feet. The units range from single- to three-bedroom with nine-foot ceilings, a covered patio or balcony and washer and dryer combo.

Behringer Harvard is purchasing the community from Fairfield Residential in a debtor controlled sale, with BH assuming the mortgage at the deal’s close. Cushman & Wakefield brokered the deal, but declined to comment on it.
