IRVINE, CA-Transwestern has expanded its presence in Orange County with the opening of a brokerage office here, naming Elizabeth Hurley as managing senior vice president to lead its transactional services in the county. A Transwestern announcement says that, with the company already the third-largest manager of commercial real estate in Orange County, the addition of Hurley allows the firm to offer comprehensive lines of service in the region. Hurley is partnering with Transwestern West Region president George Garfield and other senior leaders as part of the continued broadening of its service platform, the company says.

Hurley is a Corona del Mar resident who joins Transwestern from Cushman & Wakefield, where she specialized in office brokerage representing landlords and tenants in Orange County. She will initially focus on the firm’s agency leasing and tenant advisory service lines, while recruiting investment services and other transactional professionals to Transwestern. She will also represent owners of commercial real estate properties with leasing and disposition and assist tenants with the relocation and lease renewals.

“Elizabeth joins Transwestern as Orange County commercial real estate edges into recovery,” says Garfield. “This is one of the most high-profile regions in the entire country, with the potential for great gains as the economy improves. Elizabeth brings a keen strategic ability and deep client and talent relationships that will enable us to expand our enterprise in this quickly evolving market. We see her arrival as another key addition to our existing enterprise in Orange County."
