GREENSVILLE, SC-Lee & Associates is spreading its wings with a new office in Greensville. The new location marks the firm's 43rd nationwide as the aggressive expansion campaign continues.

Bentley Commercial is the latest to join Lee’s regional offices. The addition comes on the heels of Lee office openings in Indianapolis last fall and Kansas City, KS last month.

“Along with further solidifying our presence in the eastern US, this move also gave us strong indication of the rest of the region’s interest in Lee & Associates and our business model,” Edward Indvik, chairman of the Lee Advisory Board and vice chairman of Lee & Associates Investment Services Group, tells GlobeSt.com. “This office addition lends credence to the fact that the brokerage community is excited about Lee being in South Carolina, and we believe there is a lot of anticipation as to where we will expand to next.”

Indvik points out that Greenville has a growing population of 1.3 million, has been established as a hub for many important industries, and is a valuable access artery to and from the Port of Charleston. As he sees it, these factors make the Greenville office a valuable complement to the firm’s Atlanta office and paves the way for expansions in the Carolinas, Florida, Georgia and the rest of the Southeast.

Lee & Associates makes its new home in Greenville’s central business district, resting in a region dubbed “the boom belt,” due to its stance as one of the fastest growing areas in the US. Greenville is the largest city in the region, about 140 miles northeast of Atlanta and 200 miles southeast of the Port of Charleston. The office is managed by four principals and headed by P. Randall Bentley, who formed Bentley Commercial in 2005 and brings more than 37 years of real estate experience to Lee & Associates.

Bentley expects his new Lee office, which supports the Greenville/Spartanburg area of South Carolina and its 10 counties, to immediately boost Lee in the region. Bentley has completed nearly 300 transactions since starting Bentley Commercial, with more than $91 million in volume. He also was named a Co-Star Power Broker in industrial lease transactions from 2007 to 2009.
