MIAMI-Jones Lang LaSalle is on a recruiting roll. The firm announced four new hires this week to beef up its office platform in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.
In Miami, JLL wooed top producers Jonathan Kingsley and Stephen Rutchik. They join the firm as senior vice presidents and will specialize in office leasing, representing landlords, and tenants in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
“We are seeing exponential growth in the South Florida market and are adding more top talent to our team to keep pace with our clients’ growing needs,” says JLL Managing Director Steve Medwin. “Jonathan and Stephen bring a combination of skills and nearly 30 years of experience and expertise to our business.”
Kingsley has been a South Florida office and industrial leasing and transaction specialist for more than 20 years. He launched his career in commercial real estate with the Trammell Crow Company. Rutchik has been a South Florida office leasing and transaction specialist for more than eight years. Both brokers join the firm from Grubb & Ellis. Grubb was not immediately available for comment.
In Ft. Lauderdale, JLL appointed tenant representation gurus Jim Cahlin and Rod Loschiavo as senior vice presidents. With more than 50 years of experience combined, Medwin says the duo has the expertise JLL’s clients need to make real state decisions.
Cahlin was a top producer for Cushman & Wakefield for 19 years and brings 28 years of experience to the table. He has been involved in more than $100 million in office transactions and $50 million in land sales in the last 20 years.
Loschiavo brings 26 years of South Florida commercial real estate experience to JLL. He specializes in tenant representation, but also has experience in and land sales, as well as build-to-suits. He was most recently at CushWake, but the top producer has also spent time at Julien J. Studley and CB Richard Ellis. These hires follow the recent appointment of Peter Sheridan as senior vice President in office leasing in Fort Lauderdale.
