MIAMI-Transwestern’s South Florida office is on a leasing roll. The firm has recently inked 96,463 worth of leases at the Miami Center, a 782,210-square-foot class A high-rise office property at 201 South Biscayne Blvd. in Downtown Miami.

"The notable tenant base, both new and remaining at Miami Center, are a testament to the quality of this asset," Eric Groffman, senior vice president of Transwestern, tells GlobeSt.com. "Companies desirous of a distinguished business tower with a stable financial position, strength in ownership, strong amenities and prestige continue to seek out these substantial line items at Miami Center."

Groffman leads the leasing efforts at Miami Center. Groffman's team inked a 41,892-square-foot new lease to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, which includes a 19,104-square-foot expansion, as well as a 23,544-square-foot renewal to Regus Business Centers. Groffman also closed a 14,722-square-foot new lease to Jones Walker, a 10,583-square-foot new lease to Apex Brasil, which marks the entrance of the tenant into Downtown Miami, and a 5,722-square-foot new lease to David B. Haber, P.A.

The only office tower in the Central Business District on the east side of Biscayne Boulevard, Miami Center offers easy access to I-95. The tower is connected to the Hotel Intercontinental. Sumitomo Corp. of America purchased Miami Center in 2009.
