SAN DIEGO-Locally based Trigild has been named receiver for more than one million square feet of office and industrial space nationwide, including assets in seven states. The company―which is a distressed real estate, loan recovery and real estate specialist―notes that the one million square feet includes 11 commercial office and industrial properties nationwide, adding to its growing portfolio of distressed commercial real estate.

As the court-appointed receiver, Trigild is charged with operating, repositioning – and protecting the properties, all of which currently face foreclosure. The San Diego-based company continues to anticipate an increase in its receivership business in the coming year, according to Bill Hoffman, Trigild president and CEO. “With a steady influx of properties facing foreclosure, our services are in demand more than ever,” Hoffman says. “In particular, we expect an increased volume of business in the hospitality, office and retail sectors.”

The new properties for which Trigild has been appointed receiver include: ANC/Green Valley, seven office buildings totaling 282,000-square-feet located in Henderson, NV: Henderson Office, a 7,000-square-feet office park in Henderson; Skyline Office Building, a 30,000-square-foot mid-rise office building in St. Petersburg, FL; Congress Office Park, a 54,000-square-foot office park in Delray Beach, FL; Arlington Industrial, a 5,000-square-foot office space with 11 individual offices in Arlington, TX; Empire Towers, a 250,000-square-foot office space in Glen Burnie, MD; Jantzen Office, a three-building office complex totaling 117,000-square-feet in Portland, OR; Intracorp, three commercial office buildings totaling 138,000-square-feet in the historic Pioneer Square area of Seattle,; Gateway Chula Vista, a 129,000-square-foot office building in Chula Vista, CA; Hawthorne Medical, a 36,000-square-foot medical office in Hawthorne, CA.
