CHICAGO-Sam Zell has purchased a stake in a 40-story office tower at 200 S. Wacker Drive. Zell's Equity Group Investments LLC and Chicago-based Transwestern Investment Co. have established a joint venture with Behringer Harvard REIT I Inc., the owner of the building, to recapitalize the 754,750-square-foot building.
