Bushy Park Goes After US, Foreign Tenants

CHARLESTON, SC-Cooper River Partners is launching an aggressive strategy to fill up its 1,600-acre-plus Bushy Park Industrial Complex to manufacturing companies in the US and overseas. The developer tapped Jones Lang LaSalle to market the property in Goose Creek, which offers existing facilities ready for occupancy and 450 acres remaining for development.

“The project is very close to a Boeing plant that just opened,” John Carver, head of JLL’s Port Airports and Global Infrastructure practice, tells GlobeSt.com. “Cooper River feels the property is going to have special appeal to the aviation and aerospace industry. We are already talking to a company in the aerospace industry. The project offers a complete real estate and utility solution that’s much deeper than more traditional industrial developments.”
