McLEAN, VA-Another day, another brokerage expands its operations. Following on the heels of news from CBRE, the Ezra Co. and Calkain Cos. that they are growing their senior executive headcount and opening new offices, Colliers International has launched a new office in Northern Virginia and is introducing a regional property management practice.
The Northern Virginia office will be located in McLean and led by the recently-hired Andrew Klaff, a former senior level executive with Grubb & Ellis and four of his colleagues: Warren Amason, executive vice president; Chad Arnold, senior vice president; Warren Mayberry, associate vice president; and Katherine Camacho, client services associate.
Klaff and his team are bringing on board several million square feet of leasing assignments, Tim Hague, executive managing director of Colliers Internationsal's metro Washington, DC region tells GlobeSt.com. "They have also landed another 350,000-square feet of new assignments in the two weeks they have been with us," he says. The property management operation will be based in Colliers International's downtown DC office. That unit will consist of David Peterson, regional managing director--real estate management services; Jason Dinan, director of engineering; Lynn Johnson, financial analyst; Jason Meidhof, marketing manager; and Alexander McGregor, marketing assistant. The property management platform will offer a range of integrated services.
