IRVINE, CA-Lennar Intergulf has opened its 240-unit Astoria condominium project here to leasing, naming Alliance Residential as leasing company for the project. The Astoria is a class A luxury development of two 14-story towers and a 574-space parking structure at the Central park West site, according to a GlobeSt.com report at the time the project was planned.
Rents at the Astoria range from $2,800 for what is described as a traditional residence to $20,000 per month for a penthouse featuring an outdoor living room with fireplace, according to an announcement regarding the opening of the project to leasing. John Baayoun, division president of Lennar California Coastal Division, said the property offers an “opportunity for residents who are demanding luxurious living along with the flexible nature of a lease rather than a mortgage.”
The Astoria towers feature amenities and services including a resort-style pool and spa, guest valet parking, a climate-controlled wine vault with private tasting room, a community room with full gourmet kitchen, outdoor barbeque and fireplace, a conference room, a fitness center and a number of other amenities at Central Park West. The amenities at Central Park West include a basketball court, a 2.2-acre central park with a resort-style clubhouse and barbeque area, a fitness center, a yoga studio, a Junior-Olympic-size saline pool and spas.
The Astoria was developed by a joint venture of Miami-based Lennar Corp. and Canada's Intergulf Development Corp. with $171 million in financing, according to the previous GlobeSt.com report.
