INLAND EMPIRE, CA-Cushman & Wakefield tells GlobeSt.com that it has expanded its Inland Empire presence with some new additions. The team of Taylor Ing, Michael Day and Drew Sanden was previously with CB Richard Ellis. “Taylor, Michael and Drew are among the top office brokerage professionals in the Inland Empire, and the addition of their team will go a long way in enhancing our local presence,” says Phil Lombardo, executive director and managing broker of Cushman & Wakefield’s Inland Empire office.

Ing has joined as executive director. He was among the top 10 office producers in Southern California while at CB Richard Ellis, as well as among the top five producers in its Ontario office. Ing has completed more than 500 transactions, representing more than 5 million square feet and valued at more than $1 billion.

Day has joined the firm as senior director. A native of the Inland Empire, he brings experience in ground-up development, leasing and tenant representation, with clients including the Trenton Group, Armstrong/Butcher Properties, the Hileman Co., ADP Inc., AllState Corp., Verizon Communications Inc. and Time-Warner Telecom Inc. He was named Rookie of the Year for CB Richard Ellis’ Inland Empire office in 2005, and is consistently recognized as one of the area’s top 20 brokers, according to C&W.

Sanden has joined the firm as associate director. He specializes in tenant and agency representation in the Inland Empire and San Gabriel office markets, with clients including Allstate Insurance, Diversified Pacific Fund, Boeing, Wells Fargo, Jacuzzi Brands, Prudential, RREEF and the Brady Corp.

According to Lewis Horne, executive managing director of the greater L.A. and Orange County region, “We believe that CBRE’s deep bench of talent creates the most powerful intelligence in the industry, and is the reason clients continue to look to us as the industry leader. By the same token, it is also the reason that our competitors look to CBRE for talent,” he tells GlobeSt.com. “We look forward to engaging in healthy competition with our former colleagues in the marketplace.”

Also new in Cushman & Wakefield’s Inland Empire office is Milo Lipson and Ryan Velasquez. Both were previously with Grubb & Ellis. “Milo and Ryan are highly respected industrial brokerage professionals,” says Lombardo. “The addition of their team will enhance our service and create new opportunities for us in the Inland Empire.”

Lipson joins as senior director. He brings more than 12 years of industrial real estate experience, representing tenants, owners, developers and investors of properties ranging from multi-tenant industrial parks to large, single-tenant distributions centers, as well as land and investment transactions.

Velasquez has joined the firm as associate director. He is an 11-year veteran of the industry, having started his career with Grubb & Ellis before founding Richmont Properties Inc., a boutique, multi-family investment company where he was principal and property manager for more than 60 multi-family units. Velasquez later joined KB Home, where he performed land acquisitions and contract negotiations, before returning to Grubb & Ellis.

Also joining Cushman & Wakefield with Lipson and Velasquez is Cindy Senn, who brings more than 16 years of experience in diverse marketing roles for companies of all sizes and industries. She was previously with Grubb & Ellis. Grubb & Ellis tells GlobeSt.com that it can only confirm that they were employees of the firm, but had no further comment at this time.
