HOUSTON-Sky High Sports, which operates indoor trampoline center under the name Jump Sky High, has entered the local market. The company, doing business as Jump Houston LLC, signed a medium-term lease for the 54,000-square-foot building located at 10510 Westview Dr. near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Interstate 10.

Sky High Sports plans to open several more Jump Sky High centers across the Houston metro area, according to Blake Gibson, a senior associate with Colliers International’s local office. He and Marshall Clinkscales represented Sky High Sports in lease negotiations. Neil P. Martin of Finial Group represented the building landlord, League America – Houston LLC.

“The company likes the demographics in Houston,” Gibson tells GlobeSt.com. The Houston metro is one of the fastest growing markets in the US in terms of household formation, according to the US Census Bureau. Moreover, the market boasts a large proportion of families with children.

Sky High Sports is focused on establishing additional centers in high-income, high-density suburban areas including The Woodlands, Kingwood and Sugar Land. The indoor trampoline centers are designed from children of all ages, as well as adults.

Gibson and Clinkscales worked with Sky High Sports for about four months to find the ideal site for its first Houston center. The freestanding metal building previously housed indoor basketball courts and had a lot of improvements that made it a good fit for an indoor trampoline center, Gibson notes.

In addition to Houston, Sky High Sports has centers in Southern California and Chicago.
