MIAMI-Zubi Advertising has inked a new long-term 23,000-square-foot lease for its company headquarters at The Building in Coral Gables. The Building is a 58,000-square-class A office building located at 2990 Ponce de Leon Blvd set to come to market in 2012.

Transwestern Senior Vice President Walter Robinson, Vice President Laurel Oswald, and Associate Jennifer Lee, Associate handled the transaction on behalf of The Building, a joint venture between Juan Carlos Mas and TAZ Partners LLC, a real estate investment fund created by the Zubizarreta family. Transwestern Senior Vice President Peter Harrison represented the tenant.

“Coral Gables remains a vibrant business sector attracting tenants insistent upon high standards of excellence,” Robinson tells GlobeSt.com. “Within this business district, The Building is a unique boutique property that speaks to the demands of superior amenities, location and renowned ownership."

Robinson notes that The Building is attracting high profile tenants. In a competitive office market, the team is working to secure a complimentary tenant mix for the new building. Zubi Advertising is a good start. Zubi is one of the nation’s largest Hispanic advertising agencies with a 36-year track record of award-winning U.S. Hispanic Market branding campaigns. Zubi has over 122 employees across its headquarters in Miami, and satellite offices in Detroit, Los Angeles, and Dallas.

"Zubi Advertising is a forward thinking creative agency that required a location that mirrored its brand integrity,” Harrison tells GlobeSt.com. “Coral Gables is a hub for international business and Zubi Advertising's global perspective suits this prestigious address."

The Building will include a floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall on its southeast corner and ground floor retail designed to accommodate drive-thru teller capacity for potential bank tenants. Amenities of the boutique office building will include a rooftop terrace, ample parking and full floor private suites with floor-to-ceiling windows. The Building will be designed and built to achieve LEED certification awarded by the United States Green Building Council.
