Hanssem America Acquires Edison Warehouse for $7M

EDISON, NJ-The fine cabinetmaker will take 145,000 square feet in this Central Jersey neighborhood, located near the company’s US headquarters in South Plainfield.

EDISON, NJ-Hanssem America has acquired a 145,000-square-foot industrial warehouse at 20 Kilmer Road here from One Step Up Inc. for $6.75 million, says Colliers International New Jersey, its representative in the deal.

The building is located on 9.95 acres, with 8,000 sf of office space, according to its LoopNet listing. “It was important for Hanssem to have a building close to their core operations and the space at 20 Kilmer Road fit their needs perfectly,” says Joe Nitti, an executive managing director for Colliers. Greg Shalom of Team Resource, Inc. represented the seller.
