Atrium Selects Auchan to Anchor 800,000-SF New Mall

LUBLIN, POLAND-The Felicity Mall, the first development for Atrium since the economic downturn, will feature 150 shops when it opens in early 2013.

LUBLIN, POLAND-Atrium European Real Estate Ltd., based on the Bailiwick of Jersey, has announced that a 215,200-square-foot Auchan hypermarket will anchor its Felicity Mall project here. The 800,000-square-foot retail center is currently under development and will open in 2013.

Atrium’s Polish subsidiary, Centrum Handlowe Felin Sp, and Auchan Polska have signed a letter of intent whereby Atrium will develop and subsequently sell the hypermarket to the French international retailer on its completion. Auchan has 575 hypermarkets in Europe and Asia.
