Hammes To Manage $1.6B Mixed-Use Campus

HENDERSON, NV-It began as a vision for a new kind of healthcare campus, and tied in perfectly with the need to replace St. Rose Dominican Hospitals’ aging Rose de Lima campus currently located in the southeast Las Vegas suburb of Henderson, according to a prepared release. The planned development called UnionVillage will encompass  much more than simply replacing the 64-year-old hospital, UnionVillage is said to have emerged as a visionary plan to create the nation’s first integrated health village on a 171-acre site at US Highway 95 and Galleria Drive.  

Healthcare firms, Hammes Co. and HKS, have been engaged to provide project management and design services respectively. “There is truly no place like UnionVillage for those who seek a single, integrated lifestyle community offering a complete continuum of healthcare services—from independent living to assisted living to memory care, along with outpatient medical care, general and specialty hospital services, long-term acute care and skilled nursing,” explains Kevin Kraiss, senior vice president with Hammes Co.
