LIVERMORE, CA-Paragon Outlet Partners, a retail real estate development firm headquartered in Baltimore, has started construction on Paragon Outlets Livermore. The 543,000-square-foot outlet shopping destination will serve the greater San Francisco/Oakland Bay area region. Paragon Outlet Partners tells GlobeSt.com that the estimated construction cost totals $162 million.

Located east of San Francisco and Oakland and north of San Jose on Interstate 580 at the El Charro exit in Livermore, CA, Paragon Outlets Livermore will feature more than 120 stores. The leasing of the property is currently 64% committed with confirmed merchants including designer and brand names such as Banana Republic Factory Store, Barney’s New York Outlet, Cole Haan Company Store, J.Crew, Michael Kors, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Nike Factory Store, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH and Tommy Hilfiger, among many more.

Along with City of Livermore Mayor Marshall Kamena, City of Livermore Vice-Mayor John Marchand and Alameda County Board of Supervisors Scott Haggerty, Robert Brvenik, principal of Paragon Outlet Partners, was on hand to officially break ground for the open-air styled outlet shopping center slated to open to shoppers in November of 2012. “We are thrilled Paragon Outlets Livermore construction is underway and are looking forward to next year’s grand opening celebration,” says Mayor Kamena.

“The addition of this world-class outlet shopping center will generate significant revenue and bring much needed jobs to Livermore,” Mayor Kamena adds in a prepared statement. “The outlet center is also a vital part of strengthening our ability to attract tourists to the area.”

“It is our mission to create well-tenanted outlet centers that offer shoppers access to a collection of the world’s leading designer and brand-names,” says Brvenik. “Not only will Paragon Outlets Livermore become one of the region’s most popular shopping destinations for both local consumers and its tourist base, but a property that will also bring more than 2,000 jobs to the region, as well.”
