DICKSON CITY, PA-Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. is leasing 52,450 square feet at Kohl’s Plaza here. This will be the Oklahoma-based company’s fifth location in Pennsylvania. Metro Commercial’s Randy Hope and Mark Gerlach represented Hobby Lobby, while landlord Keystone Property repped itself along with Hobby Lobby’s regional real estate advisor, the Keith Corp.

The new pad site was completed by the owner, Hope tells GlobeSt.com, and the tenant will complete the vertical construction of the rest of the store. Construction has begun and the crafters store anticipates a February 2012 opening. The center is anchored by its titular tenant Kohl’s.

Hobby Lobby recently signed leases in Maryland and Virginia, as GlobeSt.com previously reported. H&R Retail’s president David Ward told GlobeSt.com’s Erika Morphy that the company has an “open to buy” for the DC/Baltimore area and is planning to open “dozens” of stores nationally over the next year. The Dickson City lease matches their size-range specifications of around 55,000 square feet and will be for a 15-year term.
