LOS ANGELES-Brentwood-based OSM Investment Co. has unveiled its new Hotel Wilshire, a seven-story, 74-room upscale boutique hotel at 6317 Wilshre Blvd. The hotel brings upscale dining and entertainment to the Miracle Mile district, according to president Michael Orwitz of OSM, which is the managing member of 6317 Wilshire LLC, the owner and developer of the hotel.

"While the Miracle Mile is a vibrant area, there are relatively few places to enjoy upscale dining and entertainment, which is a void our hotel will fill with the help of chef Eric Greenspan, of the Foundry on Melrose Avenue," Orwitz said in an announcement regarding the new hotel.

The new boutique hotel was an office building developed in the 1950s. In concert with the architectural firm Killefer Flammang Architects, Orwitz developed a strategy to appeal to sophisticated travelers doing business in the local area as well as tourists headed for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Pacific Design Center and other Westside attractions.
