CRE Community Mourns Loss of Martin Berger

NEW YORK CITY-Berger, the chairman and co-founder of Westchester County-based Robert Martin Company LLC, has died. He was 81.

NEW YORK CITY-Martin Berger, the chairman and general partner of Westchester County-based Robert Martin Company LLC, passed away suddenly on September 12, 2011. He was 81. 

Considered a visionary, leader and friend by many, Berger co-founded Robert Martin Company LLC with Robert S. Weinberg in 1957. The company developed and managed over six million square feet of office and industrial properties, including Blue Hill Plaza, South Westchester Executive Park and many others, which merged into Mack-Cali Realty Corp. in 1997.
