NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ-Commercial real estate tenants are interested in different types of office layouts than before, with more of a focus of informal areas and wide-open spaces, said Brenda Nyce-Taylor, design director and senior associate at Gensler. She spoke at the recent RealShare New Jersey conference with GlobeSt.com's Jacqueline Hlavenka.
They also touched on:
- The amount of light in an office space.
- Office projects that incorporate mixed-use commercial real estate space.
- Consolidation by commercial real estate tenants.
- The role of technology in office design.
