Chipotle has officially launched its Asian concept, and if we are to look at the company's recent history, we are going to see these restaurants all over the place. ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen opened its first location, in Washington DC, last week.

Chipotle CEO Steve Ells tells Bloomberg there are no more locations planned for the concept at this time. But don't believe for a minute that we aren't going to be seeing a lot more of these, probably in the near future.

Wall Street is certainly expecting it. In part due to the ShopHouse news, its stock is hitting record highs and hovering near the insane price of $350 per share based on the expectation that this new concept can fuel the company's future growth.

Store growth is something Chipotle never shies away from. The chain currrently operates about 1,100 stores, up from 900 around this time in 2009. It had about 400 units in 2004.
