L.A. County Sherriff’s Dept. Signs 98,000-SF Extension

NORWALK, CA-The eight year lease is for the entire fourth floor of Norwalk Government Center as well as for an emergency back-up power and call center to be located in the basement.

NORWALK, CA-The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has signed a new 98,000-square-foot lease extension at the Norwalk Government Center office building at 12440 Imperial Hwy. here in Norwalk, CA. The eight year lease is for the entire fourth floor of the 500,000-square-foot, as well as for an emergency back‐up power and call center to be located in the basement.

The seven‐story building is also the L.A. headquarters for the Bureau of Homeland Security, and contains offices for the FBI, the L.A. County DPSS department, and the State of California Board of Equalization. The building sits on 20 acres just off of the I‐5 Freeway, and has parking for more than 2,000 cars.
