NEW YORK CITY-Time Warner is considering a consolidation of its New York offices, according to the Wall Street Journal. To accomodate all of its 6,000 employees here in the city, it would have to leave its nominal building, the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle, built only 10 years ago.
Some of the potential sites large enough to accomodate the move are Hudson Yards, the Ninth Avenue and 33rd Street Brookfield site, the Time-Life building at Rockefeller Center or either of the new World Trade Center buildings downtown. However, these plans are in very preliminary stages, as Time Warner may opt not to consolidate.
