Wireless Communications Firm Inks 225,000-SF HQ Lease

IRWINDALE, CA-Superior Communications has renewed its lease for a 225,030-square-foot building at 5027 Irwindale Ave. that houses the company’s headquarters and its distribution facility. Superior, which provides wireless products and services to major carriers, OEMs and retailers through all channels of distribution, is the sales and logistics arm of an Asian-based manufacturing partner.

Superior was represented in the long-term transaction by senior managing director Joshua Gorin and assistant director Marcus Arredondo of tenant advisory firm Studley. The lease is valued at approximately $14 million. “This was an opportunity for Superior Communications to take advantage of the down market and reduce stay-in-place expenses while providing for the company’s long-term business strategy,” Gorin said. “The transaction also includes significant flexibility and concessions to fund facility improvements, internally and externally.”
