LONDON-Locally based GO Contaminated Land Solutions Ltd. has entered into a professional affiliation with El Segundo, CA-based Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. The two companies will now combine efforts to deliver environmental services for clients such as real estate investors, developers and lenders.

GO specializes in writing Phase 1 environmental reports and investigations, developing remediation strategies, monitoring site remediation and completion of verification reports. Partner is an environmental and engineering consulting firm focusing on real estate due diligence, building sciences, construction monitoring, land surveys and environmental site remediation services.

Partner has conducted environmental work for retail centers in Southern California and Phoenix, an office building in Canada and a shopping center in Los Angeles, among other projects. When JP Morgan Chase acquired Washington Mutual Bank in September 2008, Partner conducted 1,400 environmental and engineering inspections within two weeks to assess more than one thousand real estate assets for liability and engineering soundness.

Joe Derhake, president of Partner, said in a statement that this affiliation with GO allows both firms to provide services across the US and Europe. He said he’s also in talks with potential affiliates to offer energy evaluations, building inspections and environmental services throughout Americas, Europe and Asia.
